Located a block from historic Thames Street, The Howland House Inn, circa 1765, offers an easy retreat from the busy shops and restaurants. The home features original wide plank pine floors and period characteristics blended with modern and comfortable amenities. Guests can choose from one of four signature suites, each offering a bedroom with a king-sized bed and a living area with pull-out beds for additional guests as well as splits for Air Conditioning and supplemental heat. One of the four suites also offers a second bedroom, bath and full eat-in kitchen. Its operations are located in the sunny lower level which includes a large service area, laundry facilities, storage and a bathroom. There is off-street parking for three vehicles. Owner has recently installed a full wet fire suppression system (painting of these water lines will be completed within the next few weeks). The Inn runs under a guest transient license.
